Grundtvig Polytechnic in Anambra State played host to an accreditation visitation team comprising 30 persons which included NBTE Deputy Directors and staff, representatives of professional bodies (COREN, CPN, ICAN, NIM) and senior academics drawn from higher institutions across the country. The visitation, which lasted from 24th to 28th July 2022, involved a rigorous quality assurance inspection and assessment of teaching and learning: students’ work, staffing, facilities, equipment, academic standards, practicals, courses and entrepreneurship offerings at the polytechnic, as well as feedback meetings. We thank the visitation team for their valuable and constructive feedback and for their many compliments, summarised by the team leader and NBTE Deputy Director, Engr. Shuaibu Ringim, who rated Grundtvig Polytechnic as “world class” and gave it an “A” grade overall. We also especially thank our committed management, staff and supporters who worked very hard to ensure a smooth and successful visitation.
